New at Total Bliss
I have some exciting news!!! We are expanding our our use of Chalk Paint at Total Bliss and stretching our creative wings. Helping us with that is none other than Barb Skivington!

Barb is a master Chalk Paint® artisan, internationally renowned instructor, and the new Painter in Residence at Total Bliss in Greensboro, North Carolina where she shares her 30+ years in the faux and decorative painting industry through fun and informative demonstrations and firsthand studio workshops.
Formerly the director of education and technical support for Annie Sloan products in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, Barb's years of experience and experimentation proved invaluable in guiding both Stockists and their customers in the everyday uses for the various Annie Sloan products.
Barb has spent much of her life pursuing her passion for artistic creations that revolved around home decor, including a wide spectrum of faux and decorative finishes for walls, furniture, and cabinetry. Her brushes and trowels have taken her to locations throughout North America, as well as Europe, Northern Africa, and Australasia. Barb's work has appeared in several books and magazines, including Better Homes and Gardens Decorative Paint Techniques, Renovation Style, Paint Decor, and Southern Living. Her first book, Decorative Finishes Inspired by the South of France, was published in 2008.
Barb strives to offer her students a unique experience where she and her team work to create an environment where students feel relaxed and encouraged to express their creative side.
At home Barb follows a "modernize and simplify" mantra, mixing a sophisticated array of contemporary classics, antique Asian furnishings, modern artwork, and African primitives against a backdrop of luxuriously waxed Venetian plasters, authentic Italian Marmorinp, and other unique textural finishes.
