The Impact Of Color and Pattern
We filled our newest Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan project with one of my favorite personal collections.
I've collected this Johnson Brothers china for so long, picking up pieces that interest me throughout my travels. It makes such a big impact because of the color and pattern.Shelves filled with random plates and cups would not have this impact. These, while different patterns, are united in color and style. Repetition is what makes them pleasant to look at. This is a great example of unity in design. Color and pattern can make a huge impact when grouped together.
What do you collect? How do you display it? And remember...this is a judgement-free zone for people who can't resist just one more china pattern....., and one more yard of fabric, and one more bolt of trim. (Heavy sigh........)
