More about France......

There are so many things that I loved about our trip to France....being in the places where great artists worked is definitely one of them.  Visiting the Picasso museum in Antibes was amazing.....the building itself and the views from every window were so inspirational.

My favorite artist is Raoul Dufy.  He painted in France in the early 1900's and favored the Mediteranean and the sailboat regattas.  I have always been attracted to his deep colors of the sea and was mesmerized by the "real thing" when we were in Nice and Antibes.  From our apartment window I took this photo at sunset of the sailboats gathering and felt like I was in a Dufy painting.
