Spotted at the High Point Market: Books!

No, sadly, I didn't go to market to buy...I helped sales reps in a handful of showrooms (Lilly Pullitzer, for example). During all the chaos of meeting buyers, taking orders, and schlepping through the showrooms though, I started to notice something. There were books everywhere.

I use books in all areas of Total Bliss. Whether disguised (under a table cloth and used to add height to a display, filling bare cabinet space) or the focal point (pages folded and dangling from the ceiling) they are a welcome addition to not just a store/showroom, but also a home. (And they're rather inexpensive. Win-Win.)

They soften bare shelves and add character (yours, of course!) to your home! They provide guests easy access to your personality while also creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

So, go forth! Make that picture frame a few inches taller! Add a pop of color to a bookshelf (check under the dust jacket...they're usually quite pretty)! Or do like I do, rip out the pages and make your own wallpaper!

*The above photo has no real significance. Other than it's an awesome idea. Books can even liven up a parking garage :)
