Color 2011 - Coral Rose

I think I've hinted previously that orange is my favorite color. I want a neutral, calm space but I always end up buying orange lacquer. I've learned to stop fighting it. Since then, orange and I have had a much calmer relationship.
Personally, I don't think anything looks as good paired with blue than orange. Whether it's a muted sherbert or Coral Rose, it just pops. Below, a fairly masculine, clean room is brought life by orange accents.
Above, a rusty shade of Coral Rose spices up the entryway. Paired with crisp whites and blacks, it shows guests that the traditional bones of the house (spindle stairwell and petite chair) is not too stuffy. Below, a surprise of orange peaks from the interior of the hutch. Contrasting with the light blue paint of the piece and coordinating with the chair, it unifies the space and provides warmth where there is little color on the walls.
Bold shades of orange unify the varying design styles in the bedroom seen above while the poppy color of Emma Stone's BAFTAs dress coordinated with the orange theme of the evening.
