Color 2011 - Silver Peony

The deceptively named silver peony describes the palest of pinks. This soft blush color is everywhere in fashion (if you don't believe me, just check the final image.) It's also prevalent in decor, often adding a feminine touch to dark woods and metals.

The image below shows a very simple space and yet, it looks polished and finished. The pale pink anchors the stark desk and lucite chair. Minimal accessories allow the color to be the focal point.
