Color 2011 - Honeysuckle

It's bold, it's bright and it makes me a little nervous. Well...I was nervous. Yes, you could do an entire room in honeysuckle, but you can also use pops pops of it sparingly. While the first room (directly below) looks fairly feminine, the second is a fun, sporty interpretation of the federal style.

Used outdoors in botanicals and dense prints, the color is tropical.

Of course, layers of honeysuckle (with touches of crisp white and warm tangerines) look great too! With the addition of a patent leather chair and bold art, the room would be mod. With more sea grass and bamboo, it shifts to a 70's tropical oasis. Tight lines and a structures window treatment, preppiness would abound.

Now. Isn't honeysuckle a beautiful color?!
