Artist Spotlight: Nancy Brooks

Sleepin' Dog is the Greensboro, North Carolina-based studio of Nancy Greever Brooks, who has degrees from Mary Baldwin College and SUNY-Buffalo and has studied at the world-renowned Penland School of Crafts.

Nancy brings her interests in anthropology, art history, and painting to her fused glass creations. In the studio, she is kept company by Potus, Bacchus, and Red Dog - who are often her "sleepin' dogs."

Nancy is one of the most creative people Total Bliss knows. She is famous for her fused glass jewelry and elegant "dropped vessels." Total Bliss carries some of her more unique pieces, including fused glass chairs (with removeable and customizeable seat cushions!), glass photo frames, knobs and leashes and collars!
