Frequently I'm asked...."Do you do design work?"

And (drumroll please...) the answer is: "Yes!"

The second question is always, ....."How much do you charge?" 

I do residential interior design and schedule appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which are the days I have help in the store.  Occasionally I schedule evening appointments. 

I find most clients have a room or two that they are unhappy with and are seeking direction for that area.  Perhaps they have moved and are trying to fit their furniture and accessories into a new space.   Often they find that their furniture looks too small in a house with high ceilings and an open floor plan.  These are places I can help you.

I charge a flat design fee based on the time required and the scope of services. My fee is $100 for a consultation and it usually lasts 1-2 hours.  After looking at the problem area, I will make suggestions, give you ideas and access to any resources that might be helpful.  If the project will be ongoing I will quote a flat fee for the job and request a retainer based on that fee.  My experience allows me to make a fairly accurate appraisal of the time, travel, and in-home visits that will be required to complete the project.
