Still thinking about all the fun I had "up North"....

There's "down South" and "up North", you know.....well, I just returned from "up North".  I think I have mentioned that food played a BIG part in the trip, being that we had five-course meals for three days on Mackinac Island.  We were able to get by with frequent snacks (fudge) and other "regular" meals during the day.  Everywhere we went I was super duper impressed with beautiful plants and flowers and yards that were soooo neat and well-kept.  Here are some of my favorites.  (I photographed flowers on this trip; last year in France I photographed windows and doors).

Lilacs in Mackinac           Petunias in Kentucky     Geraniums in Ohio
