Now THAT was fun!

I've been gone for 10 days now (way way out of my comfort zone) and have travelled to many points north (way way out of my comfort zone) but now I'm home and survived and had a really fabulous time. I'm sure it was because we were with such great friends and they had been EVERYWHERE and showed us fun things (definitely inside my comfort zone).  I am sure that is  my favorite way to travel....being led around like a puppy on a leash.  I do well with that.  I follow well, awake and get ready on time, don't need too many potty breaks, and can hang with the best of them, staying up late, eating whatever, drinking whatever, packing and unpacking when told....I can even take a turn at driving or map reading ! See, I'm relieved and happy not to have to plan, reserve, and navigate.  That takes the fun out of vacation for me.  It's too much work.  Much better to just follow and look.

This was a wonderful vacation and I have the pictures and excess poundage to prove it.  But now, alas, it's real world time !  Did anyone clear up that little recession-thingie while I was gone?
