I never knew "up north" could be so much fun !

Yes, I admit it.....those darn Yankees have some good stuff!  I had a great time on Mackinac Island and learned some very interesting history.  It is so beautiful there and the Grand Hotel is definitely a national treasure.  We met some fun new friends and saw some dance moves we'll be talking about for years !  The lilacs are in full bloom and smell as good as they look.  And I just love the sound the horses make on the streets with their clop clop feet.  Note to self:  Five course meals are NOT going to work for you.

In case you're wondering how a pair of restless legs makes it in a car for hours and days.....one word-----"DRUGS".  And, of course, drugs = sleep so I definitely couldn't make it as the driver !
