Not that many miles apart

I talked to a fabulous friend today, all the way over there on the west coast !  Wheeee doggies,,,,, ain’t technology great !  She is the source of lots of good things for me and always leaves me feeling better than before we talked!  We were neighbors in my former “corporate America” life of moving around the country and 3000 measley miles doesn’t keep us apart now !  We see each other twice a year and talk in between visits.

She is so creative and just talking to her sets my brain a-flutter with  new projects and ideas.  She’s always there for me as a friend and listens to my rantings very patiently.  I hope I do the same for her.

Her current focus is quilting and she has the absolutely greatest group of gals that unite weekly for “Sew and So”,  which is the same as Stitch and Bitch was in the late 1900’s.  They let me sit in on a power session when I was there in February and, of course, I came away with what else……….more fabric !!!  I have actually cut out my quilt and have it ready for assembly!  It’s carefully tucked away in the Bat Cave awaiting another wave of west coast inspiration !
