I was very fortunate to study Furniture Marketing and Interior Design at High Point University located in, The Furniture Capitol of the World, no less! I ventured into the retail world in March 2004, opening Total Bliss in the Lake Norman BLACKLION. Now, you ask, why didn't you open in Greensboro since that is where you live? Good question ! And the answer is.....because I liked the freedom of the BLACKLION set up. I lease space there, merchandise, and maintain it and they do the rest! Translation: I don't have to be there everyday! I'm free to roam the world looking for unique fun finds, which is my true passion! (And occasionally getting into a bit of mischief, which is my true calling !
