Now Playing in a Car Near You !!
Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 05:38AM I spend a lot of time on I-40...well, I'll rephrase that...I spend a lot of time in my car on I-40. When I'm driving and thinking "I'd rather be at home reading a book" I listen to books and podcasts on my i-Pod. (2 birds/1 stone, blah, blah). I highly recommend it as a way to pass 1.25 hours and stay entertained. It also helps with that "staying awake" thing because riding in the car is one of the very worst times for my restless leg syndrome. To make that tolerable, I take medication, which is a bit of a tranquilizer. You can see my problem here..........driving and riding = jumping and jiving = falling asleep. This is a bad thing. So I alter the equation to ...driving and riding = enjoying my iPod. !! It works for me ! Here's what has been performing in that car lately........
